I’ve spent the day running errands and getting ready for my Thanksgiving trip and I’m still not done! Still gotta do something about that pile of clean laundry before bed — if nothing more than putting it somewhere other than on the bed, you know?
So instead of a lengthy post, I offer you a photo from New Wye in the Fall:
These bird feeders made from gourds are all over the place in this part of the country and I really like the look of them. The star of this photo, though, is that perfectly blue sky that you only get at this time of year.
I wish all of you who’ll be celebrating tomorrow a happy Thanksgiving — and to those for whom tomorrow is just a regular day, go ahead an eat some tasty dessert anyway! Tell people you’re celebrating American Thanksgiving.
Is it just my monitor, or is that sky a particularly deep shade of blue?
