I was in meetings all day, then it was my night to cook, then I had to finish reading and prepping for class after dinner. I nearly forgot to post! WE CAN’T HAVE THAT.
Here’s what I’d like to tell you in this very brief, last-minute post (typed on my phone while lying in bed):
It’s day fourteen of this virus. I have been med-free all day. My throat only hurts on one side; I have only had two minor Coughing Events. I ran (fine, “ran”) two miles after work, which was the first exercise I’ve been able to do in two weeks. My energy is up and my attitude is good.
FINALLY.
I may not be 100%, and I hope I’m not jinxing anything, but I am starting to be able to envision our holiday visits and travel without some small part of my brain wondering if my germy face will even be welcome. In other words, the panic that I’ll be sick forever, and never ever get rid of this stupid virus, has finally started to fade.
On that note, I bid you GOOD NIGHT.
